In everything I've done, I've been trusted to lead, because I build teams and get things moving. It's no coincidence that I'm one of few people to have led the Conservatives on councils in two different areas.
But we also get results together when we recognise that every part of the organisation is important. I've been an Association Chairman, an Association Officer, and a Branch Chairman. I'm an Area Officer and I've been a national Voluntary Party office-holder.
And - most importantly - I've been a grassroots campaigner, knocking on literally thousands of doors a year for the last 20 years. Because I have seen what each part of our party does, I respect them, I value them, and can build successful teams with them.
