London North West maps

I'll probably think of something more original to do with these maps later. Until then, I'll just keep them here. If you want to use them, ask me using the contact form. I'll almost certainly say 'yes'. That is, unless you're a communist, in which case I'll laugh at your (like Marx's) inability to quote Proudhon correctly.

Parliamentary seats

This is a map of parliamentary seats in London NW. As you can see, it's quite bleak. Not nearly enough blue, and even some yellow!

Notional parliamentary seats

This is a map of which party notionally controls the seats in London NW. Note that this differs from the above thanks to the boundary changes to be enacted by the next election. This shows that the single Lib Dem constituency, Brent East, evaporates, leaving only the Conservatives and Labour as effective parties in north west London, and with the Conservatives two whole seats up on the seat arrangement used in 2005!

Borough council control

This is more like it. This map shows control of the London Borough councils. Whilst blue obviously represents a Conservative- controlled council, green represents a Lib Dem-Conservative coalition. We only need to edge over that line in Brent and Camden to achieve a clean sweep of the area!
